Ronan is a composer and musician from Dublin, Ireland.

Professional Experience

Ronan is currently principal vocalist with PBS phenomenon Celtic Thunder, who just completed their Odyssey 2023 North America tour and have their 50-city Fall 2024 tour to come.

As an arranger and touring musician Ronan has travelled the world over, writing for and performing with groups and artists such as Adele, Celtic Woman, Riverdance, Hillsong, Mairéad Carlin, The RTÉ Concert Orchestra, The Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Utah and Colorado Symphony Orchestras, Mark Feehily, Aslan, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Wallis Bird, and many more.

Ronan currently works as a composer for visual media. During his time spent on London's film music circuit, Ronan worked in Abbey Road Studios and AIR Studios Lyndhurst alongside industry-leading figures including Thomas Newman, Hans Zimmer, Daniel Pemberton, Max Richter, Alan Menken, Conrad Pope and David Arnold.

Ronan is the Operations Director of the European Recording Orchestra (ERO): a commercial session orchestra based in Sofia, Bulgaria, which records all genres of orchestral music for an international client base.


Early Life

Ronan studied Classical Music at University College Dublin, obtained a post-graduate degree in Music Technology from Trinity College Dublin, and holds a Masters in Composition from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
